Qualifications & Responsibilities: 

* Experienced mechanical design engineer/advisor who has Led and Developed Openhole Packers for downhole applications
* 10 years of Design Engineering Experience and a minimum of 8 years in the Oil and gas industry
* Must have strong knowledge of Openhole completion products for varied operating environments
* Excellent understanding of API regulatory standards for API 11D1 and API 19OH in extreme high-pressure and high-temperature (HP/HT) applications
* Proficiency in SolidWorks software, or equivalent, for 3-D modeling
* Able to understand and explain FEA simulation and analysis
* Strong candidates will possess the following skills: Adaptability, strong communication skills and leadership potential
* Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot tool-related issues efficiently
* Lead cross-functional projects, including product and prototype validation, and provide hands-on troubleshooting when required
* Development of new products for new markets or the revision/modification/repackaging of existing products to meet functional requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field is required
